Closure order for Lake Josephine

FLORIDA FISH AND WILDLIFE CONSERVATION COMMISSION

ORDER NO. _______________ Temporary No Harvest Regulation for Black Bass on Lake Josephine, Highlands County

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, acting under the authority of Art. IV, Section 9, Florida Constitution, hereby alters the established bag limit for black bass on Lake Josephine, Highlands County, as established by Rule 68A-23.005, F.A.C., as follows:

Notwithstanding the provisions of Rule 68A-23.005, F.A.C., no person shall kill any black bass from Lake Josephine, Highlands County, or possess any black bass in or on such lake, during the 2005-2006 Lake Josephine Aquatic Habitat Enhancement Project.

Lake Josephine (includes west, central, and east pools) is located within Section 32, Township 35 South, Ranges 28-33 East. All canals and waterways contiguous to Lake Josephine north of Lake Josephine Drive and south of Skipper Road are included in this Order.

This Order shall take effect at 12:01 AM, December 1, 2005, and shall expire at 12:01 AM, June 1, 2006, unless sooner repealed by subsequent order.
